The Vidyalaya was established in 1986 and started functioning from barracks in the CRPF campus. From this humble though dignified beginning, it climbed the ladder of progress, slowly steadily and today housed in an impressive building of its own, well equipped in all aspects, it is  touching new heights of glory with each passing day, all set to march towards higher and nobler goals.

Sponsored by GC-II, CRPF, K. V. No. 2 Ajmer is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Situated in pollution free environs, it imbibes its depth of purpose from Foysagar and height of ambition from Aravalis.

Its constant endeavor is to provide value based higher education through modern teaching techniques which go hand in hand with co-curricular activities aimed at bringing about multifaceted and balanced development of the pupil’s personality.
